EARMIND will be exhibiting for the first time at the design & art festival "DESIGNART TOKYO". 10/20~29 “Bespoke Sound art piece”
With the theme of "Bespoke", this is a special event where you can enjoy music, art, and culture.The process of making EARMIND, a never-before-seen wireless earphone, using careful craftwork will be exhibited, and custom orders will also be possible.
At the event, we will exhibit sound art pieces created using a variety of traditional crafts and small factory techniques that should be passed down, and demonstrate the production process. You can pick it up and listen to it in the gallery space attached to the hair salon that will be the venue for this event, which is filled with beautiful natural light.
This event was named "Bespoke Sound art piece." "Bespoke" is a word used to describe custom-made clothing, similar to the word "tailored," and originally meant "be spoke," or "while talking." At the event, we have prepared an audio guide that goes along with the exhibition so that you can experience the sound art piece, which is a work of art that can be touched and enjoyed. You can listen to the production process and production story with your favorite sound art pieces.

Limited workshops will be held during the period. As the title "Be spoke" suggests, we listen to each person's requests and select one-of-a-kind art pieces created by Kraftwerk, which is unimaginable for wireless earphones that are usually mass-produced. You can order it according to your preference, just like high-quality tailored clothing.
Furthermore, we accept orders for the battery charger exclusive leather cover and label tag, which are accessories that come with the Sound Art Piece, in your favorite color. By actually touching and choosing not only the earphones themselves, but also the accessories, you can fully pursue your own style. This is a limited project at DESIGNART TOKYO 2023, where we bespoke wireless earphones that can only be made possible by EARMIND, which is carefully crafted one by one.

EARMIND's sustainable accessories are made by reusing leather scraps from luxury maisons. Even so, scraps of leather are created during the production process. SCENT is a hair salon with a small gallery that is located close to the Watari Museum of Art, the setting for this event, and has a beautiful space with wood grain and light. While proposing hairstyles tailored to each individual, we also hold various exhibitions in the gallery space from time to time, so you can enjoy cultural stimulation along with wonderful hairstyles.
